We’re beyond excited to finally bring DIY-luminaries Øjne from Milan and Munich’s not so hidden gem Oakhands into our cherished Marat.

Oakhands need little to no introduction at this point, the scene-pundits continue to expand their musical paradigm of Sturm und Drang. Last time they played at Marat, they held the vernissage of their current formation, that is evolving into a broad cosmos of feelings and people.
Their DIY spirit & revolting approach to boundaries is just as true to the heart of european screamo as genre-legends

Øjne. The Milan band has been shaping the scene for over a decade now with their, tense, discordant, and at times chaotic style of post hardcore/screamo. Inbetween their first full-length in 2017: Prima Che Tutto Bruci and their newest EP, Sogno #3, released in June 2023, their frantic sound & profound handling of social, political & personal issues, has become a cult favorite.
